Bracelets Sizing Tips and Recommandations

Whether you are looking for a bangle, a clasp or a cuff style bracelet, here are the sizing recommendations you are looking for.

BANGLES

In order to get the right size, measure your hand following these instructions (since the bracelet must slip over your hand to be worn):

1- Straighten your fingers and tuck in your thumb as though you are going to stick your hand in a jar (see photos provided for a better picture of what this means).

2- Using a flexible measuring tape, measure around the widest part of your hand (the knuckles). This is your size.

3- If you do not have a flexible measuring tape, you can use a piece of string to wrap around your hand (as described above) and then you can measure that string against a regular ruler.

For example, my hand size (when measuring this way) is 8 inches. Therefore I wear an 8 inch bangle myself.

CLASP BRACELETS

This type of bracelet will typically have a snugger fit around the wrist since you tie them on (versus slipping them over your hand like a bangle)

Measure around your wrist in INCHES where you would like the bracelet to sit and add a 1/2 inch. This is your size. Add 1 inch to your wrist measurement if you prefer a looser fitting bracelet.

For example, my wrist size (when measuring this way) is 6 inches. Therefore I wear an 6.5 inch clasp bracelet myself.

CUFF BRACELET

Because there is nothing to "tie" the bracelet onto your wrist, you want a snug fit. The best way to get the right fit would be to measure the wrist (snug...not tight) and then to substract 1/2 an inch.
For example, my wrist size (when measuring this way) is 6  inches. Therefore I wear a size 5.5 cuff bracelet myself
