WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN UPCYCLING AND RECYCLING?

Upcycling is an art form that reuses discarded objects or materials in their current state, in such a way as to create a product of higher quality or value than the original.

Recycling involves the destruction of waste in order to create something new (ex: collecting newspapers, transforming them into pulp to then transform that pulp into paper napkins).

 

PROCESSING TIME

It typically takes me between 3-5 days to complete your order and send it our for shipping. If you require your items more quickly, please complete the form below or click on the CHAT WITH US button on the bottom right of your screen in order to discuss how we can meet your needs.

 

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Due to shipping challenges that have occurred worldwide with the ongoing COVID19 pandemic, all items are shipped with tracking. In order to provide you with the most discounted price, I offer a flat rate shipping price (16$ CA for Canada and the USA - shipping calculated at check-out for other countries).

Also, I currently offer free local delivery in the Ottawa/Gatineau (Canada) region. Some restrictions apply.

REFUND POLICY

I gladly accept most returns and cancellations.

Request a cancellation within 4 hours of purchase.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you MUST contact us within 7 days of delivery with details about the product you would like to send us. I will quickly respond with instructions for how to send your item to me. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Shipping expenses for return/repair services are to be at the expense of the purchaser.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that I can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I cannot accept returns for Custom/Made to Order items.

Refunds

I will notify you once I’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. Please note that shipping expenses are non-refundable at all times.

 

WHAT IF I HAVE ALLERGIES?

The guitar and other strings used in my creations are made of bronze, brass, steel, nickel, and other metals. Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee which specific metals will be in your creations, due to the repurposed nature of the stings.

 

WILL THE BRACELETS PULL MY ARM HAIR?

Contrary to popular beliefs, guitar strings, electric bass guitar strings, piano strings, etc. DO NOT pull on your arm hairs. They make great bracelets!

 

 

 CARE INSTRUCTIONS

We recommend keeping your jewelry dry. Avoid allowing it to be wet for an extended amount of time. If your jewelry does get wet, dry it off immediately.

Also, try to avoid exposure to lotion or perfumes.

It is recommended that you store your jewelry in a sealed container with a few grains of rice to avoid tarnish and rust. As needed, you may also buff your silver coloured jewelry with a silver cleaning cloth.

With proper care your jewelry should last for years!
